Yes. The core app—logging work, saving photos, tracking costs, and generating reports—is free. We will offer optional paid upgrades for advanced features, but you’ll always be able to use the basic tools at no cost.

Can this app guarantee lower insurance premiums or coverage?

No app can guarantee what an insurance company will do. Aegis365 is designed to document your wildfire risk reduction work in a clear, organized way that many insurers say is helpful when evaluating a property.

What kind of things should I log in the app?

Anything related to defensible space (vegetation clearing, debris removal, irrigation improvements) and home hardening (roofing upgrades, vents, windows, decks, fences, siding, doors, etc.), along with photos and receipts.

Who can see my information?

Only you control your data. Reports are generated only when you choose to create and share them. (You can later refine this answer based on your privacy and data policies.)

Do I need Wi-Fi or cell service to use the app?

Basic logging may work offline, with syncing when you’re back on a network. (Adjust this line depending on your technical design.)

Will there be an Android version?

No. The principles of defensible space and home hardening apply in many wildfire-prone regions. Aegis365 is designed for homeowners in any wildfire-exposed community, with content adapting over time as we grow.
