Aegis365 is a free home-hardening and defensible space app that helps you track work, document improvements, and generate reports your insurance company can actually use.
Wildfire risk is rising, and homeowners are being asked to do more to protect their properties. Aegis365 makes it simple to plan, document, and track those efforts—so you can show insurers and yourself the real work you’ve done to reduce risk.
Log tasks like clearing brush, trimming trees, and cleaning roofs or gutters. Aegis365 lets you save dates, notes, and photos for each action.
Record upgrades like ember-resistant vents, Class A roofing, noncombustible fencing, or dual-pane windows. Each item can include photos, receipts, and warranty info.
Snap a photo of each receipt or invoice. Aegis365 tracks per-project costs and gives you a total investment in your home’s wildfire resilience.
With a tap, Aegis365 creates a PDF or digital report summarizing your defensible space and home hardening work—ready to send to your insurance company, real estate agent, or local fire agency.
Walk your property with the app. Use guided checklists for defensible space (Zones 0–100 ft) and home hardening features.
As you complete tasks, add entries: short notes, photos, and receipts. The app organizes everything by area (roof, vents, siding, landscaping, etc.).
As you take steps to protect your property and home, you can measure your progress, including what you’ve done, when you did it, and how much you invested.
Aegis365 has been developed by the nonprofit organization the Safe Community Project. The core app is FREE and have been designed to stay that way. There will be optional advanced capabilities available as “in-app purchases” but the core tools for documenting your wildfire mitigation work will remain free.
